A San Diego native and thought leader in the Blue Revolution, Patrick brings over 13 years of “egg-to-plate” expertise spanning both aquaculture and wild fisheries. He combines deep scientific knowledge with strong business acumen to help shape the future of the seafood industry.

Patrick built and operated Panama's first marine Cobia hatchery, pioneering national market demand for Cobia and other premium species. His career spans every link in the seafood value chain—from larval rearing and broodstock management to sales, marketing, product development, and the introduction of innovative technologies to market.

Career Highlights

Open Blue Sea Farms

Built and operated the first marine Cobia hatchery in Panama. Managed QC, sales, inventory, harvest management, and new packaging development for the world's largest open-ocean fish farm.

Niceland Seafood

Served as U.S. Director of Sustainability, managing sales, sustainability initiatives, and aquaculture operations. Championed frozen seafood as a solution for reducing supply chain and post-consumer waste.

Pure Fish

National Sales Manager responsible for building distribution networks and managing sales campaigns across a wide variety of premium seafood species.

UM Experimental Hatchery

Hands-on research in marine finfish larval rearing and broodstock capture, spawning, and maintenance of Pompano, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, and Cobia fingerling production.
